Marching band contest is Saturday

SEMINOLE -- Nineteen bands are scheduled to compete at the 25th annual Seminole Sound Spectacular beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Seminole High School football field, 86th Avenue N and 131st Street.

Also, exhibitions will be given by the Seminole High School Warhawk Marching Band, the Seminole and Madeira Beach Middle School bands and the University of South Florida Marching Band.

Seminole Band alumni are invited to attend and participate in a patriotic song with the current Warhawk Band. They should contact Suzan Mullins at 393-9257 or by e-mail: suzmullins@aol.com.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $10 at the gate.
