"Big Move' not necessarily a great move
Disney goes back to old-school slapstick shenanigans in Max Keeble's Big Move, opening in theaters Friday. Alex D. Linz (Home Alone 3) plays Max, a constant victim of bullies and those vindictive faculty members only seen in movies taking lunch money from kids like Max. The boy takes his lumps, then learns his family is moving to another town and begins dishing out a few of his own. Turns out the Keebles aren't moving after all, so Max faces the wrath of everyone he never expected to see again. Larry Miller (The Princess Diaries) is a dependably arch villain for these situations but silly previews suggest that Max's next big move will be toward video store shelves.
