The short-handed Pirates give up seven TDs in the first half.

BUSNELL -- Injury-wracked Pasco suffered one of the worst losses in its 76 years Friday night as the depleted Pirates fell 63-13 to South Sumter in a brutal but non-district and non-conference loss.
Down 63-0 entering the fourth quarter, Pasco (4-2) avoided the shutout when Johnny Payton rumbled 65 yards for a touchdown. Late in the fourth, Anton Standifer hit Thomas Hasley with a 32-yard touchdown pass.
Otherwise, the short-handed Pirates were dominated offensively and defensively by the Raiders. South Sumter had 35 first downs to Pasco's 13, and the Raiders rolled through the Pirates for 427 rushing yards. Six Pasco fumbles -- one returned 41 yards for a touchdown -- didn't help. South Sumter (4-1) gained 470 yards in offense and racked up seven first-half touchdowns. Raiders' tailbacks Frank and Kenneth Furca combined for 241 yards rushing and four scores. Quarterback Earl Everett added a touchdown on the ground and threw one to tight end Eric English. Kicker David Leonor connected on 9 of 9 extra points.
Pasco mustered just 178 yards offense. The Pirates had seven turnovers, and four resulted in South Sumter touchdowns.
