1. EHRLICH ROAD AT CASEY ROAD, SEPT. 21, 12:20 P.M.: An eastbound 1995 Mercedes turned left into the path of a westbound 1976 Mercedes causing minor injuries and major damage to both vehicles. The 1995 Mercedes driver, a 59-year-old woman, was charged with failure to yield right of way.

2. ORANGE GROVE DRIVE AT HAMPTON PLACE, SEPT. 21, 2:48 P.M.: A southbound 1997 Kia rear-ended a 1993 BMW. A 2000 Mercury swerved to avoid rear-ending the BMW and hit a tree. The Kia driver, a 69-year-old man, was charged with following too closely. The injured were taken to St. Joseph's and Unversity Community hospitals.

3. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT COLBY ROAD, SEPT. 21, 4:55 P.M.: A northbound 1999 Chevrolet was using a turn lane as a through lane and hit an eastbound 1994 Cadillac as it turned left. The Chevrolet driver, a 29-year-old woman, was charged with failure to use designated lane.

4. BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD AT CROSS CREEK DRIVE, SEPT. 21, 6 P.M.: A northbound 1996 Pontiac rear-ended a 1998 Toyota. The Pontiac driver, a 36-year-old woman, said that she thought the Toyota was going through the yellow light so she accelerated to do the same. Airbags were deployed in the Pontiac, breaking the windshield. The Toyota driver, a 49-year-old woman, complained of neck and back pain but refused treatment.

5. EHRLICH ROAD AT WESTSHIRE DRIVE, SEPT. 21, 6:45 P.M.: An eastbound 2000 Ford truck turned left into the path of a westbound 1993 Nissan. The Ford driver, a 34-year-old man, was charged with violation of right of way. The injured was taken to University Community Hospital Carrollwood.

6. HOLLYHOCK WAY AT FOXRIDGE CIRCLE, SEPT. 21, 11 A.M.: A northbound 1997 Chevrolet lost control, hit a mail box head-on, hit two trees and flipped onto its roof. The driver, a 16-year-old boy, said he swerved to avoid something that ran across the road. A DUI investigation was conducted and the teen was charged with DUI with property damage.

7. BEARSS AVENUE AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, SEPT. 23, 5:33 A.M.: An eastbound 2001 Toyota truck was traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was charged with failure to use due care and unsafe speed.

8. INTERSTATE 275 AT BEARSS AVENUE, SEPT. 22, 10:40 A.M.: A large black animal wandered into the roadway. A northbound 2000 Honda swerved to miss the animal and hit the concrete wall and overturned in the grass median.

9. BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD AT HUNTERS GREEN DRIVE DRIVE, SEPT. 22, 11:45 A.M.: A 2001 Nissan rear-ended a 1986 Toyota. The Nissan driver, a 40-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

10. INTERSTATE 75 AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, SEPT. 22, 5:30 P.M.: A westbound 1993 Ford, traveling at 2 mph, rear-ended a 2001 Mitsubishi.

11. FLETCHER AVENUE AT INTERSTATE 275, SEPT. 22, 7:30 P.M.: An eastbound 1992 Nissan ran a red light and sideswiped a 1995 Jeep truck. The Nissan driver walked away from the scene. A passenger in the Nissan advised that she only knows the driver by his nickname and has no other information.

12. LINEBAUGH AVENUE AT COUNTRYWAY BOULEVARD, SEPT. 23, 1:50 A.M.: An eastbound 1999 Chevrolet was traveling over the speed limit when it lost control, went up onto the median and hit a tree. The driver, a 26-year-old man, was charged with DUI and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.

13. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT LUTZ LAKE FERN ROAD, SEPT. 23, 2:43 P.M.: A northbound 2001 Volkswagen rear-ended a 2001 Ford van. The Volkswagen driver, a 44-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.

14. LIVINGSTON AVENUE AT COLLIER PARKWAY, SEPT. 23, 1:30 P.M.: An eastbound 1988 Ford failed to yield around a curve and hit a southbound 1995 Chevrolet van. The Ford driver, a 42-year-old man, was charged with failure to yield at an intersection.

15. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT FLETCHER AVENUE, SEPT. 23, 5:10 P.M.: A southbound 2001 Chevrolet rear-ended a 1994 Mazda, pushing the Mazda into the rear of a 1994 Honda. The Chevrolet driver, a 19-year-old man, was charged with careless driving. The Mazda driver, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with failure to exhibit a drivers license upon demand. The Honda driver, a 21-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

16. HIGHWOODS PRESERVE PARKWAY AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, SEPT. 23, 9:40 A.M.: An unknown vehicle was backing out from a parking space and hit a parked 1990 Volvo. The unknown vehicle fled the scene.

17. INTERSTATE 275 AT FLETCHER AVENUE, SEPT. 24, 5:40 A.M.: A southbound 1970 Ford truck accelerated suddenly, lost control, began to spin sideways and rear-ended a 1986 Cadillac. The Cadillac driver, a 39-year-old woman, was taken to Tampa General Hospital. The Ford driver, an 18-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

18. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT LINEBAUGH AVENUE, SEPT. 24, 7:50 A.M.: A southbound 1998 Ford failed to yield for the turn lane and hit a 2000 Lexus truck. The Ford driver, a 25-year-old woman, was charged with violation of right of way. The Lexus driver, a 32-year-old woman, was taken to University Community Hospital.

19. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT NORTH VILLAGE DRIVE, SEPT. 24, 1:25 P.M.: A southbound 1999 Ford truck rear-ended a 1997 Chevrolet. The Ford driver, a 29-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.

20. NEBRASKA AVENUE AT APRIL LANE, SEPT. 24, 3 P.M.: A northbound 1988 Lincoln rear-ended a 1998 Nissan. The Lincoln driver, a 56-year-old man, was charged with careless driving. The injured were taken to University Community and St. Joseph's hospitals.

21. INTERSTATE 275 AT BEARSS AVENUE, SEPT. 24, 6:52 P.M.: A northbound 2001 Ford rear-ended a 1999 Toyota that was stopped due to traffic congestion. The Ford driver, a 17-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.

22. 138TH AVENUE AT 22ND STREET, SEPT. 24, 9:36 P.M.: A westbound 1991 Nissan turned right and hit a southbound bicyclist. The Nissan driver, a 46-year-old woman, said she did not see the cyclist until she heard someone yelling. The Nissan dragged the bicycle approximately 3 feet. The driver was charged with violation of right of way. The bicyclist, a 23-year-old man, was charged with no light on a bicycle and taken to University Community Hospital.

23. GUNN HIGHWAY AT LUTZ LAKE FERN ROAD, SEPT. 24, 9:50 P.M.: A northbound 2002 Mitsubishi drifted off the road, hit several road signs, overcorrected causing the vehicle to spin and roll over. The driver, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.

24. BEARSS AVENUE AT NEBRASKA AVENUE, SEPT. 25, 7:15 A.M.: An eastbound 1992 Nissan rear-ended a 1992 Toyota. The Nissan driver, a 47-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

25. HILLSBOROUGH AVENUE AT MEMORIAL HIGHWAY, SEPT. 25, 11:45 A.M.: An eastbound 2001 Mitsubishi changed lanes and sideswiped a 1995 dump truck. The Mitsubishi driver, a 39-year-old woman, was charged with improper lane change and pulling in front of a vehicle going the same direction.

26. BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD AT PINE DRIVE, SEPT. 25, 3:54 P.M.: An eastbound 2001 Toyota truck turned left and sideswiped a 1996 Ford truck in the next turn lane. Traveling north in the southbound lanes, the Toyota then hit the side of a 1984 Mercury and hit a 1994 Jeep head-on. The Toyota driver, a 58-year-old woman, was on pain medication and suffered from a medical condition which made her unaware and unresponsive as she drove. A driver re-exam was recommended. She was taken to University Community Hospital.

27. FLORIDA AVENUE AT CRENSHAW LAKE ROAD, SEPT. 26, 6:06 A.M.: A southbound 1991 Ford lost control, hit the curb, swerved into the center lane, hit the curb again, slid sideways, hit a utility pole, spun and came to a rest against a handrail. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with careless driving.

28. FLORIDA AVENUE AT CRENSHAW LAKE ROAD, SEPT. 26, 7:11 A.M.: A southbound 1995 Ford truck rear-ended a 1999 Chevrolet truck, pushing the truck into rear of an unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle fled the scene and was described as a red Jeep Cherokee. The Ford driver, a 43-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

29. VETERANS EXPRESSWAY AT ANDERSON ROAD, SEPT. 26, 8:45 A.M.: An unknown vehicle rear-ended a southbound 1993 Mazda, pushing the Mazda into the rear of a 1999 Ford truck. The unknown vehicle fled the scene and was described as a light colored Toyota Camry.

30. RICHMOND PLACE DRIVE AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, SEPT. 26, 11 A.M.: An unknown vehicle was backing out a a parking space and hit the side of a parked 1995 Acura. The unknown vehicle fled the scene.

31. FLORIDA AVENUE AT LAKE MAGDALENE BOULEVARD, SEPT. 26, 11:15 A.M.: A westbound 1995 Dodge pulled out to make a left turn into the path of a 1989 Mercury. The Dodge driver, a 70-year-old woman, was charged with violation of right of way and taken to University Community Hospital.

32. PLANTATION OAKS DRIVE AT AMBERLY DRIVE, SEPT. 26, 2:10 P.M.: An unknown vehicle backed out of a parking space into the side of a parked 1990 Mazda. The unknown vehicle fled the scene.

33. FLETCHER AVENUE AT 15TH STREET, SEPT. 26, 4:35 P.M.: A westbound 1980 Ford truck rear-ended a 1996 Toyota, pushing the Toyota into the rear of a 1997 Toyota. The Ford driver, a 20-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving and taken to University Community Hospital.

34. FLETCHER AVENUE AT 12TH STREET, SEPT. 26, 5:35 P.M.: An eastbound 1996 Chevrolet rear-ended a 1992 Ford that was stopped for traffic. The Chevrolet driver, a 19-year-old man, complained of air bag burns but declined treatment. He was charged with careless driving.

35. BEARSS AVENUE AT FLORIDA AVENUE, SEPT. 26, 10:41 P.M.: An eastbound 1996 Ford tried to stop for a traffic light but said the brake pedal went to the floor. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, swerved right, went off the road and hit a utility pole. She was taken to University Community Hospital.

36. NEBRASKA AVENUE AT 122ND AVENUE, SEPT. 27, 10:50 A.M.: A 33-year-old woman was standing on the sidewalk in front of a business when a westbound 1985 Oldsmobile pulled into a parking space in front of her. The pedestrian looked directly at the driver and, after several seconds, the driver assumed the way was clear, proceeded forward. The Oldsmobile tapped the pedestrian on the knee with its front end. The pedestrian called the police and had no visible signs of injury.

37. NEBRASKA AVENUE AT 142ND AVENUE, SEPT. 27, 11:38 A.M.: A westbound 1990 Ford van was in the median waiting to pull into traffic, its rear partially blocking the lane. A northbound 1994 Chrysler slowed to avoid hitting the van and was rear-ended by a 1992 Ford van. The 1990 Ford driver, a 50-year-old woman, was charged with violation of right of way. The 1992 Ford driver, a 50-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

38. LINEBAUGH AVENUE AT GUNN HIGHWAY, SEPT. 27, 2:55 P.M.: A 27-year-old man was working at a construction site erecting a steel cable across the highway when an eastbound 1999 Toyota truck rolled over the cable. The cable became hung up under the vehicles right rear tire. The cable sprung up and hit the construction worker, injuring him and causing moderate damage to the vehicle. The worker was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.
