The U.S. Geological Survey, situated on the USF St. Petersburg campus at 600 Fourth St. S, will celebrate Earth Science Week with 2001: A Science Odyssey, an open house, from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Visitors may tour the U.S. Geological Survey's Studebaker and Getting Buildings and see displays of Florida geology, coral reefs, native fish and wildlife, hurricanes, volcanoes, African dust and more.
