New 4-H Club organizing; first meeting TuesdayBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published October 8, 2000 CRYSTAL RIVER -- A new Citrus County 4-H Club is forming and is open to all youth between 8 (as of Sept. 1, 2000) and 18 years of age. The club will meet at the Crystal River Middle School Auditorium. The first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Topic of the meeting will be "Care of Rabbits." Other meetings will cover horticulture and other projects in which members show interest. The 4-H program offers friendships, life skills, public speaking, summer camps, trips and scholarships. For information, call Tracy Rash at 563-5398 or the 4-H office at 726-2141.
