    Celebrate sister cities at tasting

    Wines from around the world will be featured from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Clearwater Room at the Harborview Center in celebration of Clearwater's sister cities program. Enjoy wines from Japan, Australia, Germany, France, Chile, Italy and California. Tickets are $15 at the door.

    Morroni schedules last open house

    State Rep. John Morroni, R-Clearwater, will host his final open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at his district office at 2331 Belcher Road, Suite C, Clearwater. Morroni, who has served in the Florida House for eight years, is leaving the Legislature this year because of term limits. The Feather Sound resident faces Democrat Dave Buby on Nov. 7 in a race for the single-member District 6 Pinellas County Commission seat. For information on the open house, call 538-7240.
