ARCHITECTURE: Fine Homes By Design Inc., 3802 Gunn Highway, Suite D, Tampa, received the grand award at the 2002 Awards of Excellence for projects 5,000 to 10,000 square feet. The award is sponsored by the National Commercial Builders Council of the National Association of Home Builders. Fine Homes By Design won for its design of Baytowers office building at Bayshore Boulevard and Bay to Bay in south Tampa.

CONSTRUCTION: J.A. Jones Construction Co., 5460 Beaumont Center Blvd., Suite 520, Tampa, announced the following contract: Army Corps of Engineers, construction management, 26,000-square-foot expansion and 33,000-square-feet renovation of the physical fitness center at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, $5.5-million.

FINANCE: Monroe & Giordano, 777 South Harbour Island Blvd., Suite 140, Tampa, arranged the following financing: Swiss Golf and Hidden Village manufactured home community, 494 Century Drive, Winter Haven, $21.6-million.

ELECTRICAL: Encompass Electrical Technologies-Florida LLC, 5910 Hartford St., Tampa, announced the following contract: Eva-Tone, Clearwater, electrical work, 122,000 square feet, office building addition.

SUPPLIERS: Castle Supply Co. relocated its corporate headquarters from 6365 53rd St. N, Pinellas Park, to 6600 49th St. N, Pinellas Park. The new 50,000-square-foot facility includes a distribution warehouse, offices and showroom.

REAL ESTATE: NAI Krauss Organization, 711 N Sherrill St., Tampa, announced the following lease and sales transactions. Leases: Parts Warehouse Inc., 5,000 square feet, 237 Interstate Blvd., Sarasota; and Kelly Services Inc., 2,043 square feet, 9721 Executive Center Drive, St. Petersburg. Sales: Charles Whang, 6 acres, 9406 S Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, to Guyton Energy Corp.; and John and Leslie Osterweil, 5,520 square feet, 9502 N Florida Ave., Tampa, to Premier Holdings & Management Group Inc.

Ross Realty Group Inc., First Union Building, Clearwater Mall, 20505 U.S. 19 N, No. 502, announced the following sales transaction: Michael Trocke, 9,780 square feet, Busch Rome Square, 1445 W Busch Blvd., Tampa, to Dr. Adel Girgis, $595,000.

TECHNOLOGY: Winn Technology Group, 523 Palm Harbor Blvd., Palm Harbor, announced the following contracts: Aris Corp., Bellevue, Wash., for generation of sales leads, focusing on Oracle database consulting and integration; PresenceWorks, Alexandria, Va., targeting four industry groups to provide sales leads; Gartner Inc., Stamford, Conn., for event management services for Gartner's AD Summit 2001 conference in Palm Springs, Calif.; Moxy, San Francisco, for database development; and Cybrant Corp., Mountain View, Calif., for an SAP database to promote a Web-based seminar.
