EAST LAKE -- Two drivers and a 6-year-old boy were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle collision on East Lake Road and Lansbrook Parkway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Robert G. Johnson, 32, of Largo, was driving a 1998 Ford sport utility vehicle north on East Lake Road when he tried to turn left at Lansbrook Parkway. Johnson turned in front of a 1996 Mercury driven by Kelly A. Pura, 33, of Tarpon Springs about 3:40 p.m. Johnson, Pura and Pura's passenger John Pura, 6, were taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. All three were treated and released on Sunday. Johnson was cited for making a left turn in front of approaching traffic.
