Focus on volunteers

Tampa Bay Research Institute, 10900 Roosevelt Blvd. N, St. Petersburg, seeks volunteers to help with general administrative support duties. The organization is involved in biomedical research of cancer, AIDS and hepatitis C. For information, call Greta Beckett at 576-6675, ext. 126.

Gulf Beaches Chamber of Commerce needs staff for several offices and kiosks. Volunteers assist bay area visitors by providing directions and general information. Offices are located on Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach. For information, call the chamber at 360-6957.

The Human Rights Advocacy Committee needs volunteers to work with programs in Pinellas and Pasco counties that are part of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Volunteers are appointed by the governor and meet monthly. Call 588-7074.
