Marine Corps Pvt. Gary Hall Rothe II, son of Susan Cullins and stepson of Brian Cullins, has completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

A 2001 graduate of Lakewood High School, Rothe will undergo logistics training after completing combat training at the U.S. Marine Corps School of Infantry, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
