With cooler weather comes the return of weekend art shows, bringing in artists from throughout the United States. Favorites with bay area art lovers, and their 2001-2002 show dates, include:

Oct. 27, 28 -- CraftArt 2000, Plant Park, Tampa. Outdoor fest of 125 top-quality fine craft artists, organized by Florida Craftsmen. (727) 821-7391.

Nov. 3, 4 -- Art Harvest, Highlander Park, Dunedin. The bay area's top fall outdoor show. (727) 738-5523.

Nov. 9-11 -- Festival of the Masters, Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista. All exhibitors have won prizes in other shows. (407) 828-3058.

Nov. 30-Dec. 2 -- ACC Craft Show Sarasota. The venerable American Crafts Council show returns to Robarts Arena, its only Florida venue. $6. (941) 365-0559.

Dec. 1, 2 -- Palm Harbor Arts, Crafts and Music Festival, downtown. Fine art and crafts in a show timed for holiday shopping. (727) 784-4287.
