The Clearwater Jazz Holiday runs from tonight through Sunday at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater.

For the first time, a paid-seating section has been added behind the VIP section that will move festivalgoers who don't pay away from the stage.

The festival is putting 500 seats up for sale each day. You can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster or at a merchandise tent in Coachman Park. But so far, ticket sales have been sluggish; unsold seats will be removed so nonpaying concertgoers can use the space.

Tickets cost $15 a day for the Thursday and Friday shows, and $25 a day for the Saturday and Sunday shows.

Parking is available on side streets and in lots and garages in the downtown area. Look for parking in lots on Osceola Avenue, Drew Street, Pierce Boulevard and N Fort Harrison Avenue as well as Station Square Park and City Hall.

Plenty of food and drink, as well as visors, shirts and CDs, will be for sale. Coolers are not permitted. Bring a blanket or low chair if you're in the free seats.

Belleview Cadillac will jam at the Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday with some of the other Jazz Festival players staying at the hotel, 25 Belleview Blvd., Clearwater. Admission is free.
