ZEPHYRHILLS -- A man armed with a chrome-plated pistol robbed the First National Bank of Pasco Wednesdayand escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, Pasco County sheriff's deputies said.
No one was injured in the robbery at 4518 Gall Blvd., Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll said.
The robber, described as a 6-foot-tall black man between 120 and 140 pounds, jumped the counter and demanded money, Doll said.
He wore a black hooded sweat shirt, black pants and a black Halloween mask, Doll said.
He likely fled the bank south by car on U.S. 301, Doll said.
