© St. Petersburg Times, TONIGHT'S GAMES ZEPHYRHILLS (5-2) AT HERNANDO (2-5) WHERE/WHEN: Tom Fisher Stadium, 7:30 NEED TO KNOW: It's an odd matchup, with Bulldogs coach Tom Fisher playing at a stadium bearing his name, though he has no relation to the former Leopards star who was killed in a car accident in 1966. Fisher has lost his last three games at Hernando after winning in his first trip as a head coach there in 1990. Fisher wants to see a balanced offense tonight, even though Hernando's last two opponents have rushed for 959 yards and passed for 21. The Pirates will have the edge at quarterback, where James Adamo has thrown for 634 yards and six touchdowns. Hernando's Brad Wyatt has thrown for 361 yards, but he has 10 interceptions to go along with 1 touchdown pass. SPRINGSTEAD (3-4) AT RIDGEWOOD (1-6) WHERE/WHEN: Ram Booster Stadium, 7:30 NEED TO KNOW: As if Springstead didn't have enough to play for chasing a .500 record for the first time in three years, now the Eagles have an emotional edge in this contest: senior linebacker Dan Radish is using a wheelchair after breaking his right leg. He must wear a cast for six to 16 weeks after suffering the injury in last week's win against Mitchell. The Eagles bring a balanced offense led by quarterback Brian Bolcar (586 yards passing) and Justin Melnik (466 yards rushing, 6 touchdowns). Ridgewood has been hampered by injuries all season, but the Rams' offense is due to break out one of these nights. CENTRAL (5-2) AT MITCHELL (1-6) WHERE/WHEN: Mustang Stadium, 7:30 NEED TO KNOW: Originally scheduled for Thursday night, this Class 4A, District 6 game was moved to tonight. -- Compiled by staff writers Greg Auman and Jamal Thalji. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • St. Petersburg Times
