Turtle Creek subdivision yard sale

Amputees Together to meet Thursday Amputees Together will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Westcoast Brace & Limb, 5311 E Fletcher Ave. Guest speaker Melinda Rehmann, senior recreation therapist at All People's Life Center, will discuss the different types of activities the center and other local organizations offer people with disabilities. Edward Jones and Merrill Gardens Retirement Community will present the free seminar "One Less Thing to Worry About: Long-Term Care Insurance" at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Merrill Gardens Retirement Community, 414 Chapman Road. Cancer Center fundraising meeting

Hillsborough County staff will hold a public meeting to discuss traffic problems along Pompano Drive from Trout Street to Tarpon Drive. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Nuccio Park Recreation Center, 4805 E Sligh Ave. A recommendation to county commissioners on solving traffic problems will be based on this meeting.
