Hernando briefsBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published October 24, 2000 Commissioners to consider brokerage's relocation fateThe Hernando County Commission is expected to consider today whether a professional employment organization belongs in the Hernando County Airport Industrial Park, which is usually reserved for clean light industry, warehousing and wholesale distribution facilities. PEO Brokerage Inc., a national payroll brokerage firm now at 21321 Ayers Road, would like to move into an 11,000-square-foot building in the industrial park to use as its base of operations. In the future, PEO hopes to construct a building in the Corporate Airpark Phase III for its corporate headquarters, while continuing to use the industrial park building for accounts receivable. On Monday, the Hernando County Aviation Authority voted in favor of finding the company to be a compatible use with the area.
