Fall carnival features haunted house

Starkey Elementary's annual fall carnival featuring a haunted house will be Friday from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at the school, 9300 86th Ave. N, Seminole. Tickets for games and food, including pizza, hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy and sno-cones, will be available at the carnival. Proceeds will benefit the school.

Middle school hosts annual haunted trail

Pinellas Park Middle School hosts its annual haunted trail fundraiser Friday and Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the school, 6940 70th Ave. N. Admission is $3, payable at the trail gate, and will benefit the school's music department.

Refreshments and games for younger children will be available. Call Beverly Jaime, 544-4560, for information.

Fall information session for parents

Holy Family Catholic School, 250 78th Ave. NE, will hold a "Fall Gathering" Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria for parents of children entering kindergarten in 2002. The information session will provide a brief overview of the school's academic, religious and extracurricular programs and will offer an opportunity for early registration.

Refreshments will be served. Call the school office, 526-8194, for information.
