Do you regret not redshirting freshman quarterback Brock Berlin?
SPURRIER: Depending on how the year goes, certainly, if Rex Grossman and Jesse Palmer are both very healthy throughout the remainder of the year, we probably should have redshirted Brock. But since we've not, we'll bring all three of them to the ballpark.
Q: Will middle linebacker Travis Carroll, who returns this week from a knee injury, play against Georgia?
SPURRIER: There are two or three guys ahead of him right now, since he really hasn't played at all this year. The middle linebackers have played much better the last two games.
Q: How have you gotten more production out of Alex Brown and the other defensive ends the past two games?
SPURRIER: Alex, I think we're using him the right way now. He's playing 25 to 35 plays a game. Since we have several defensive ends, and they all play about the same, it keeps them fresh and well-rested when we rotate them.
Q: Are you proud of your 9-1 coaching record against Georgia the past 10 seasons?
SPURRIER: I'd have been more proud if we'd won the other one, too. But that's all history. The only thing that counts is what happens this Saturday, really.
