This week's question: Zach de la Rosa, lead singer of Rage Against the Machine, announced last week that he was leaving the politically outspoken rock band. Rage has championed causes involving the Zapatista uprising in Mexico; the appeal for a new trial for Mumia Abu-Jamal, a journalist and former Black Panther convicted in the 1981 killing of a Philadelphia police officer; and the release of this American Indian Movement leader, imprisoned for more than two decades after what some believe was an unfair trial for the murder of two FBI agents in a shootout near Wounded Knee, S.D., in 1975.
