HAUNTED CASTLE: The Specter Academy and the Tampa Jaycees will have a haunted castle at the Event Factory in the Town 'N Country Plaza, 7565 W Hillsborough Ave. Hours will be 8 to midnight tonight and Saturday and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday. The cost is $7. It is not recommended for children younger than 13. Proceeds will benefit the Children's Cancer Center. For information, call (813) 948-4096.

CRAFT SHOW: St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N Dale Mabry Highway, will have an indoor/outdoor craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 949-4142.

HALLOWEEN FUN FEST: There will be a Halloween Fun Fest from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Lowry Park Band Shell on Sligh Avenue at N Boulevard. It will feature free entertainment and a costume contest at 5 p.m. Other highlights: games, prizes, face painting, magic shows, storytelling, puppetry, concessions, and arts and crafts. TRICK OR TREAT: Several businesses at the Pebble Creek Collection, a shopping center on Bruce B. Downs Blvd., will hand out treats from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. For information, call (813) 973-2133.

ARTS/CRAFTS SHOW: The Crafts and Artisans Society will have an Arts and Crafts Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday at the North Pointe Plaza, 15233 N Dale Mabry Highway at Bearss Ave. The event will feature handmade items by local artisans, including wood furniture, ceramics, jewelry, hand-painted glassware and whimsical Halloween items. TRICK OR TREAT FOOD DRIVE: Costumed children are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to University Mall on Fowler Ave. from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. They can participate in the "Trick or Treat So Others May Eat" food drive while having fun in a safe environment. The food will be donated to Metropolitan Ministries. Starter bags stuffed with candy will go to the first 1,500 children bringing a food item. The event is sponsored by University Mall, WMTX-FM 100.7 and WTOG-Ch. 44. For information, call 209-1016.
