The newly organized Central Citrus Democratic Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Central Ridge Library, 425 W Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills. The group is hoping to organize a Young Democrats Club. Democrats and Independents are invited. Call 746-9374.

The League of Women Voters, in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Times and the Beverly Hills Recreation Association, will hold a Candidate Forum at 7 p.m. Monday at the BHRA clubhouse, 77 Civic Circle.

Each candidate will have three minutes to present their platform and one minute to answer a drawn question. After all candidates have spoken, they will be given one minute for summation. Written questions from the audience will be screened by the League and presented to the candidates for a one minute answer.

The Citrus County Democratic Women's Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Room 232 at Withlacoochee Technical Institute in Inverness. The speaker will be Melissa Walker, communications facilitator of the Citrus County Library System. Club officers for 2001 will be elected during this meeting.
