Man charged with lewd conduct on two girls

NEW PORT RICHEY -- A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday in a case involving inappropriate sexual contact with two girls, ages 8 and 13, in separate incidents that occurred in August and September.

Oved Morales of 5839 Eighth Ave. in New Port Richey was charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts.

The 8-year-old victim told Pasco County sheriff's deputies that Morales took her hand and forced her to fondle him, then he fondled the girl, the report said.

The 13-year-old girl told deputies that in August, she gave a letter to Morales detailing her feelings for him.

He read the letter and began to kiss her, eventually performing oral sex on her.

One week later the two were together again, the girl said.

Morales was taken to Land O'Lakes jail and relased Friday afternoon on $10,000 bond.

Deputies seek attackers

NEW PORT RICHEY -- Pasco County sheriff's deputies were searching for six unidentified men who allegedly attacked a man in the Veterans Village subdivision.

Victim Daniel Martin of New Port Richey told deputies that he and a friend were visiting an acquaintance in Veterans Village when the six men came in. Martin said they immediately began arguing with him and saying he needed to leave.

They then pushed him out the door and chased him approximately a quarter mile. One of the pursuers, carrying a baseball bat, struck Martin with the bat in the upper back and knocked him to the ground, a report stated.

Martin told deputies he was kicked several times on the ground. After trying to flee several times without success, Martin finally escaped and ran to his mother's house in Veterans Village, where he called Pasco County Fire and Rescue.

He eventually was taken to North Bay Hospital by one of his mother's friends and later released. Deputies have no leads in the incident.

He was charged with four counts of sale of marijuana and five counts of possession of marijuana.

Adrianna Lynn Borkowski, 19, of 3324 Baugh Drive in New Port Richey was with Swiderski and also was charged in the case. Both suspects were taken to Land O'Lakes jail.

Swiderski remained in custody Saturday awaiting $60,000 bond. Borkowski also remained in custody Saturday in lieu of $5,500 bond.
