Poor weather roughed up the water and limited the number of fish weighed in Sunday's Fall Kingfish Tournament at Billy's Stone Crab Seafood & Steakhouse.

Mark Miklos and J.J. Hoyle, fishing on Prime Time, won with a 16.4-pound king caught 3 miles off Clearwater in about 30 feet of water. It was their only strike of the day. After trying all their usual baits with no strikes Hoyle put out a small jack crevalle, which the winning king ate about 8:30 a.m.

Second place went to Brent Gaskill on the Tampa Bay Anglers.com team boat. Gaskill landed a 13.15-pound king, also from the Clearwater area.

Third place went to Chris Clark of Three Brothers Tackle fishing team. Clark caught an 11.4-pound king 18 miles offshore of John's Pass with a threadfin for bait. Fourth place went to Matt Tevlin (10.85) on Reel Bad, and fifth place went to Buck Walker (7.2) on Job Site.
