Tight end Byron Chamberlain on the lopsided score: "I'm surprised at how hard we've worked to get ourselves to 3-3 that we'd come out and lay a goose egg in a division game. We knew they were a desperate team and that if we beat them, they're basically done."

Chamberlain on why the Vikings lost: "We didn't do anything. And if you don't do anything, it's not hard for them to beat you."

Coach Dennis Green on the Bucs: "They are much better than a 3-3 team."

Receiver Cris Carter on the Bucs' high intensity level: "They've got a lot of old pros with a lot of pride, regardless of what people have said about them the first six or seven weeks of the season. ... Those guys are going to be ready to play. They brought a lot more intensity in all aspects of the game and that was really the big difference."

Quarterback Daunte Culpepper of Ocala on losing in front of home fans: "I came here to win the game. I didn't come here expecting a family reunion or anything like that."

Carter on quarterback Brad Johnson: "Brad played a great game. It might be the best game I've ever seen him play."

Culpepper on the broken nose he sustained early in the game: "Flukes like this happen. It's not an excuse for why we lost."

Running back Doug Chapman on the Vikings' future: "It's a long season. There's a lot of football left. A lot of stuff can happen between now and Week 16. We'll remain optimistic. We'll get our game plan going during the off week and prepare for Philly and try to get this thing rolling again."
