• Army Spec. Romeo Belunta, a legal specialist, arrived for duty at the Vilseck-Grafenwoehr Military Community in Germany. He is the son of Roy C. and Rosalinda B. Reed, Tampa.
• Army Pfc. Waloa H. Rayyes graduated from the automated logistical specialist advanced individual training course at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va. He is the nephew of Hani Rayyes, Tampa.
• Army Pvt. Justin A. Byczek graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of John Byczek, Tampa, and is a 2000 graduate of Gaither High School, Tampa.
• Air Force Airman Angela Cash graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Dave Cash, Riverview, and is a 2000 graduate of Robinson High School, Tampa.
• Army Pvt. Angel A. Cortez graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Nelida Cortez, Tampa, and is a 2001 graduate of Brewster Technical High School, Tampa.
• Army Pfc. Ensor O. Gonzalez graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Sandra Lambert, Tampa, and is a 2001 graduate of Leto High School, Tampa.
• Air Force Airman Brad A. Johnson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Sharon Green, Tampa, and is a 2001 graduate of King High School, Tampa.
• Air Force Airman 1st Class Joshua L. Miller graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Terry and Pamela Miller, Dover, and is a 2001 graduate of Plant City High School, Plant City.
• Air Force Airman James J. Parrish graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Jim Parrish, Odessa, and Linda Parrish, Tampa. He is a 1998 graduate of Chamberlain High School, Tampa.
• Air Force Airman Craig C. Robinson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Susanne Sage, Hailey, Idaho, and Charles Robinson, Odessa. He is a 2001 graduate of Sickles High School, Tampa.
• Steve Sargent has been promoted in the Air Force to the rank of master sergeant. He is the son of Donald G. Sargent, Tampa, and Maxine C. Feltman, Hamilton, Ala. He is a 1978 graduate of Leto High School, Tampa, and he received an associate's degree in 1998 from Air Force Community College, Montgomery, Ala.
• Army Pfc. Daniel A. Shields graduated from the computer/automation systems repairer advanced individual training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. He is the son of Ronald L. and Mary F. Shields, Durant. He is a 1999 graduate of Durant High School, Durant, and in 2000 he received an associate's degree from Tampa Technical Institute, Tampa.
• Air Force Airman 1st Class Deirdre B. Spight graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She's the daughter of Michael Spight, Leavenworth, Kan., and Cathleen Mathis-Spight, Valrico. She's a 1999 graduate of Bloomingdale High, Valrico.
• Air Force Reserve Airman Morgan R. Stubbs graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Sandra Hayes, Greenville, S.C., and Tyrone Stubbs, Tampa. She is a 1998 graduate of Brandon High School, Brandon.
• Brian F. Watkins joined the Army under the Delayed Entry Program and reports to Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., for basic training. He is the son of Helena Watkins, Detroit, and Kevin Watkins, Tampa.
• Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Mackiknley J. Zewalk graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Mark Zewalk, Tampa, and is a 1998 graduate of Robinson High School, Tampa.
