Honor society hosts rummage sale

Honor society hosts rummage sale

The National Junior Honor Society of Seminole Middle School will host a rummage sale Saturday from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the school, 8701 131st St. N, Seminole. Items will be on display at the 86th Avenue entrance. Proceeds will benefit the school.

Teachers invited to apply for seminar

Prekindergarten through 12th-grade educators with a minimum of three years of teaching experience are invited to apply for an all-expenses-paid summer seminar at the Florida Center for Teachers in St. Petersburg.

Limited to 25 teachers, media specialists and counselors, each weeklong seminar is a hands-on, experiential program that takes educators into the field. Previous seminars included Asian Religions, Archaeology, Florida Writers and Hip Hop.
