© St. Petersburg Times, ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL: The Courthouse Square Arts and Crafts Festival will be Saturday and Sunday in downtown Inverness. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the artists' works will be displayed along the pedestrian walkway around the Courthouse Square. Free admission. CONCERT: The Citrus Harmony Chapter of the Sweet Adelines and Citrus High School Breez music and dance group will present Tune-A-Ville Travel at 3 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, 3896 Pleasant Grove Road, Inverness. Admission is $10 and tickets are available at the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce offices in Inverness and Crystal River. HORROR SPOOF: A comedy about a nurturing and meddlesome female vampire, Blood Ties, has its final performances today through Sunday at the Citrus County Auditorium, U.S. 41 S, at the fairgrounds, Inverness. Today and Saturday shows at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. The play is produced by Gulf Islands Civic Theatre. Tickets $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at the Gulf Islands box office at Cash Carpet, 772 N Enterprise Drive, Lecanto, on State Road 44 adjacent to Stokes Flea Market. LISTEN TO TEACHER: Playhouse 19 will present Miss Margarida's Way Thursdays through Sunday through Nov. 25. The one-woman show is about a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense eighth-grade teacher who lectures the audience as though the members were her students. Show times Thursdays are 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, available at the box office, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Call 563-1333 for reservations. JAZZ JAM: The next jam session of the Citrus Jazz Society will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Hampton Room of Andre's of Citrus Hills restaurant. The session will feature the Jack Green Jazz Quartet. Admission is $5 for non-members. Memberships available at the door for $17 for individuals and $25 for family. ELKS JAM: The West Citrus Elks will hold its monthly jam session from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday 4 at the lodge, 7890 W Grover Cleveland Blvd. Dancing and sandwiches for a $2 admission. Call 382-1785. CURTAIN CALLSAUDITIONS: Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River, will have auditions for The Mystery of Edwin Drood at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Musicians and actors are needed. A LOOK AHEADWILDLIFE PARK: Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park will observe its third annual Old Timers Day on Nov. 17. Former employees and longtime Homosassa residents will host a series of discussions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Garden of the Springs. Call 628-5343. ART, CRAFTS AND SEAFOOD: The Homosassa Arts, Crafts and Seafood Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 and 11 in Old Homosassa. The seafood court will have 40 different vendors. Other activities include a juried art show and judged craft show, with 175 exhibitors. Sponsored by the Homosassa Springs Chamber of Commerce and the St. Petersburg Times, the festival raises proceeds for local charities. Admission is $1. A mock USO show will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 11 at Rock Crusher Canyon Garden Pavilion, 275 S Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River. Entertainment includes Big Band and Swing music, plus dancers and a Mae West impersonator. Free admission to veterans, non-veterans pay $10. QUICK TRIPSSUCCESS IS SO SWEET: The musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying continues Thursdays and weekends through Nov. 18 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $16. The theater's box office is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and one hour before each show. Call (352) 683-5113. APPLETON EXHIBIT: "Once in Our Lifetime" a major exhibit of 19th century art, runs through Dec. 6 at Appleton Museum of Art, 4337 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Important works from Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Paul Cezanne, Vincent van Gogh and others will be featured. Museum hours are daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $11.50 for adults, $5.50 for Appleton members, $9.50 for seniors, $21.50 for a family pass, $5.50 for youths age 10 to 18, $7.50 for university students and educators, and children under 10 are free.
