TODAY-DEC. 12: Model airplane enthusiasts Paul Flow and Jeremy Waters are exhibiting a range of non-flying and radio-controlled model airplanes with wingspans from three to 80 inches at the Pottberg Library on the west campus of Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The exhibit includes award-winning dioramas of World War II, Vietnam and other military scenes. Viewing hours are 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
SUNDAY: The Richey Concert Band will perform at 2:30 p.m. at Sims Park, New Port Richey. The program includes National Emblem March, Go Away Little Girl, the Jimmy Durante song Inka Dinka Doo and others. Those who attend are urged to bring lawn chairs and a picnic lunch.
SUNDAY: Richey Community Orchestra will present "Fascinating Rhythm" at 3 p.m. at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. SUNDAY-MONDAY: Three dance studios will present a show to benefit Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund for children of victims of the Sept. 11 attack at 2 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Springs Country Club in Trinity and at 7 p.m. Monday at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. The studios are Port Richey Dance Time, Dance Workshop and Boston Dance Connection. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 10 and younger. TUESDAY: Betty Jean Steinshouer will portray authors Willa Cather, Marjorie Rawlings and Gertrude Stein sharing their experiences of World War II in "America at War" at 6 p.m. at the New Port Richey Library, 5939 Main St., New Port Richey. The program is sponsored by the Florida Humanities Council and is free.
THURS.-NOV. 11: The 17th annual Hudson Seafest will be held north of Point Plaza Shopping Center at U.S. 19 and State Road 52, Hudson. The event features music, entertainment, a fishing tournament, carnival, crafts and Florida seafood specialties, including the Seafest grouper dinner. Buses will transport those who attend from designated parking areas near the event. Entertainers include Wiley Fox, Zack Taylor, One World, the 42nd Street Band, Hudson Middle School Jazz Ensemble and Radio Disney.
TODAY-NOV. 18: The musical comedy How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying continues at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill.
