LAKEVIEW DRIVE AT SAGEBRUSH ROAD, OCT. 20, 12:50 A.M.: A 1999 eastbound Toyota drove off the side of the road, hit a cable box, street sign and a concrete block wall. The vehicle spun counterclockwise and knocked down some wood fence panels. Concrete debris from the wall flew in a yard, damaged patio furniture and broke a kitchen window. The Toyota driver, a 30-year-old man, was charged with DUI and property damage. 2. LIVINGSTON AVENUE AT IRENE STREET, OCT. 20, 6:04 A.M.: A westbound 1990 Pontiac turned left into the path of a northbound 2000 Chevrolet van. The Pontiac driver, a 26-year-old woman, was taken to University Community Hospital and was charged with violation of right-of-way, no insurance and driving with a suspended license. 3. FLETCHER AVENUE AT INTERSTATE 275, OCT. 20, 3:53 P.M.: An eastbound 1998 Ford truck rear-ended a 1994 Cadillac, causing the Cadillac to hit the left side of a northbound 1995 Mercury. The Ford driver, a 38-year-old man, was charged with following too closely. The Cadillac driver, a 20-year-old woman, and the Mercury driver, a 32-year-old man, were taken to University Community and St. Joseph's hospitals. 4. FLETCHER AVENUE AT 19TH STREET, OCT 20, 4:00 P.M.: An eastbound 1989 Oldsmobile rear-ended a 1997 Mitsubishi, pushing the Mitsubishi into the rear of a 2000 BMW. The Oldsmobile driver, a 19-year-old man, was charged with careless driving and no proof of insurance. The Mitsubishi driver, a 50-year-old man, was taken to University Community Hospital. 5. GUNN HIGHWAY AT DALE MABRY HIGHWAY, OCT. 20, 4:22 P.M.: A westbound 1965 Chevrolet truck turned left on a red light into the path of a 1996 Toyota. The Toyota driver, a 36-year-old man, was taken to University Community Hospital. Charges were pending until a witness could be contacted. 6. LIVINGSTON AVENUE AT PINECREST DRIVE, OCT. 20, 4:40 P.M.: An eastbound 1992 Plymouth van turned left into the path of a northbound 1995 Toyota. The Plymouth driver, a 42-year-old woman, was charged with an improper turn. 7. 22ND STREET AT PALMER CIRCLE, OCT. 20, 7:34 P.M.: A northbound 1994 Honda hit a 19-year-old woman crossing the northbound lanes. The Honda driver, a 28-year-old woman, swerved to avoid hitting the pedestrian and the vehicle hit the left side of the pedestrian. The pedestrian went over the left corner of the hood and onto the ground. She suffered abrasions to her knees but refused treatment. 8. GUNN HIGHWAY AT MARBRISA DRIVE, OCT. 20, 11:20 P.M.: A westbound 1995 Nissan van was traveling over the speed limit, changed lanes, lost control, rolled over and came to a rest right-side-up, facing east. The driver, a 37-year-old man, was charged with DUI refusal. 9. FLORIDA AVENUE AT APRIL LANE, OCT. 21, 12:29 A.M.: A 1989 eastbound Ford truck rear-ended a 2000 Chrysler that was parked in a parking lot. Upon impact, the Chrysler was pushed into a parked 1988 Cadillac. The Ford continued through the parking lot and ran over a parking stump, through a grass median and came to a rest in front of a different apartment building. The Ford driver, a 21-year-old man, smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot and watery eyes, dilated pupils and slurred speech. He was charged with DUI and property damage. 10. TAMPA PALMS BOULEVARD AT AMBERLY, OCT. 21, 9:30 A.M.: An eastbound 1999 Toyota van changed lanes into the side of a 1995 Ford. The Toyota driver, a 44-year-old man, was charged with improper change of lane. 11. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT SOUTH VILLAGE DRIVE, OCT. 21, 9:50 A.M.: A southbound 1986 Chevrolet changed lanes into the side of a 2000 Honda. The Chevrolet driver, a 19-year-old man, was charged with improper lane change and driving with a suspended license. 12. HILLSBOROUGH AVENUE AT COUNTRYWAY BOULEVARD, OCT. 21, 10:15 A.M.: An eastbound 1998 Toyota turned left on a yellow light into the path of a westbound 1988 Toyota. The 1998 Toyota driver, a 60-year-old woman, was charged with violation of right-of-way and was taken to Town & Country Hospital along with the passenger, a 25-year-old woman. 13. EHRLICH ROAD AT TURNER ROAD, OCT. 21, 2:25 P.M.: A westbound 1998 Ford rear-ended a 1991 Honda, pushing the Honda into the rear of a 2000 Lincoln. The Ford driver, an 18-year-old man, was charged with careless driving. Both the driver of the Honda, a 45-year-old man, and the passenger, a 47-year-old woman, complained of headaches but refused treatment. 14. COMPTON DRIVE AT COMMERCE PARK DRIVE, OCT. 21, 2:40 P.M.: A northbound 1998 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed along a paved sidewalk. The driver hit a rock and lost control. The drag marks along the paved sidewalk measured approximately 45 feet. The driver, a 20-year-old man, was taken to University Community Hospital and charged with careless driving and operating an unregistered vehicle. 15. GUNN HIGHWAY AT FOUR OAKS DRIVE, OCT. 21, 5:10 P.M.: A southbound 1997 Toyota pulled out of a driveway into the path of a westbound 1997 Chrysler. The Toyota driver, a 51-year-old man, was charged violation of right-of-way and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. The Chrysler driver, a 26-year-old man, was taken to University Community Hospital. 16. 139TH AVENUE AT 19TH STREET, OCT. 21, 8 A.M.: An eastbound 1987 Oldsmobile hit a westbound bicycle that was on the wrong side of the road and not property illuminated. The bicyclist, a 28-year-old man, was thrown from the bike and onto the hood of the Oldsmobile. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital. 17. INTERSTATE 275 AT BEARSS AVENUE, OCT. 22, 1:45 A.M.: A southbound 1988 Chevrolet changed lanes into the path of a 1996 Dodge van. Due to the impact, the Chevrolet was pushed forward 248 feet from the point of impact. Charges are pending. The injured were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. 18. SHELDON ROAD AT REDWOOD BOULEVARD, OCT. 22, 7:55 A.M.: An eastbound 1978 Plymouth entered an intersection into the path of a southbound 1993 Nissan. The Plymouth driver, a 54-year-old woman, was charged with violation of right-of-way and taken to University Community Hospital. The Nissan driver, a 29-year-old man, had a minor leg and neck injury but refused treatment. 19. TARPON SPRINGS ROAD AT INDIANA AVENUE, OCT. 23, 1:45 P.M.: An eastbound 1996 Ford truck tipped over after the right wheels lifted off the soft shoulder of the roadway. The driver, a 38-year-old man, was taken to Helen Ellis Hospital after complaining of neck, elbow and shoulder pain. 20. GUNN HIGHWAY AT SHELDON ROAD, OCT. 23, 5:56 P.M.: A southbound 1999 Chevrolet rear-ended a 2000 Dodge. A passenger in the Chevrolet, a 13-year-old girl, was taken to Tampa General Hospital. 21. INTERSTATE 275 AT LIVINGSTON AVENUE, OCT. 24, 4:13 A.M.: A northbound 1996 Ford hit a deer that ran out from the woods. The driver, a 36-year-old man, swerved but hit the deer on the right front and driver's side door. 22. BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD AT AMBERLY DRIVE, OCT. 24, 5:37 P.M.: A southbound 1998 Ford rear-ended a southbound 2000 Honda, leaving 45 feet of skidmarks. The Ford driver, a 29-year-old man, was charged with careless driving and no seat belt. The Honda driver, a 26-year-old woman, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. 23. TAMPA PALMS BOULEVARD AT AMBERLY DRIVE, OCT. 24, 8:15 P.M.: A westbound 1997 Chevrolet lost control on the wet road and hit a light pole. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with careless driving. 24. BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD AT TAMPA PALMS BOULEVARD, OCT. 24, 9 P.M.: A southbound 2000 Dodge hit an animal in the road. The driver, a 38-year-old man, was charged with no proof of insurance. 25. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT EHRLICH ROAD, OCT. 25, 4:35 P.M.: A southbound 1993 Nissan truck rear-ended a 1994 Chevrolet. The Nissan driver, a 26-year-old man, was charged with careless driving. 26. FLETCHER AVENUE AT DALE MABRY HIGHWAY, OCT. 25, 6:45 P.M.: A westbound 2000 Dodge van and a westbound 1991 Isuzu truck sideswiped each other. The Dodge driver, a 47-year-old man, said the Isuzu drifted into his lane. The Isuzu driver, a 46-year-old man, said the Dodge turned right into his lane. Both drivers denied the others claim and evidence was inconclusive. 27. GUNN HIGHWAY AT ANDERSON ROAD, OCT. 25, 9:25 P.M.: A northbound 1989 Toyota pulled out of a private driveway into the path of an eastbound 1991 Ford.
