SEMINOLE -- For the 17th year, members of the Kiwanis Club of Seminole will don their orange vests and aprons to stage Fall Festival Days.

Festivities will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Seminole Vocational Education Center, at 125th Street and 86th Avenue N.

There will be live entertainment, about 60 arts and crafts booths, games, pony rides for kids and hayrides for families. Special attractions will include a collectible farm toy show in the administration building; a petting zoo; an old-fashioned flea market; an antique car show and a tent highlighting local businesses.

A highlight of Saturday's event will be the club's annual auction at 1 p.m. More than 200 items will be available.

On Sunday, the Bloodmobile will be stationed at the Vo-Ed Center from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

In addition, festivalgoers can purchase an old-fashioned roast pork dinner with all the fixings, hot dogs, pizza and funnel cakes. The pork dinner will sell for $4.50.

Money raised at the two-day event goes toward Kiwanis-sponsored programs such as Every Child A Swimmer and Horses and the Handicapped.

Admission is free. Seminole firefighters will have a boot drive at the gate. No pets or alcoholic beverages are permitted at the Vo-Ed Center. Parking is available at nearby Bauder Elementary School. For information call 394-2582 (394-CLUB).
