Pasco Middle School has been named the recipient of a $1,000 grant by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The Florida SchoolYards program will fund a learning area that will feature a landscape using native plants, low maintenance ornamentals and water-saving irrigation techniques. Local environmental experts will also teach and promote concepts of environmental landscape management and pollution prevention.
