Veterans Day closures

The following businesses and government offices will be closed Friday and Saturday for Veterans Day.

Hernando County libraries, all branches

Hernando County government offices

Supervisor of Elections Office

U.S. Postal Service (closed Saturday only)

Banks (closed Saturday only)

Hernando County Sheriff's Office

Hernando County public schools

Hernando County Northwest Waste Management Facility, East Hernando Transfer Station (normally closed on Mondays) and the West Hernando Transfer Station.

Pasco-Hernando Community College, all campuses (closed Friday only)

Brooksville Police Department offices

Southwest Florida Water Management District office (Swiftmud)

Brooksville City Hall

Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce offices

Department of Children and Families

City of Brooksville Sanitation Division: Thursday's pickups will be Wednesday, and Friday's pickups will be Thursday. There will be no change in commercial pickups.

Hernando County Recreation Department

Jerome Brown Community Center
