Police say worker used customer's credit card
ZEPHYRHILLS -- A 20-year-old customer service representative was arrested Thursday on charges that he used a customer's credit card to purchase airline tickets and make hotel reservations.
Larry Travis Reeves of 6944 16th St. in Zephyrhills was working as a representative for Accent Marketing, 5931 Gall Blvd., reports stated.
Zephyrhills police officers said Reeves took the credit card number of a customer who had called to pay a Sprint telephone bill. Police did not name the customer. They said Reeves then used the card number to purchase the airline and hotel reservations onPriceline.com. His charges totaled $2,374.30, reports stated.
Reeves faces charges of fraudulent use of a credit card.
He was taken to the county jail in Land O'Lakes, where he remained Friday in lieu of $5,000 bail.
