ITALIAN EATERY OPENS: Benedetto's Italiano opened Sept. 5 on Highway 54 in the Village Lake Shopping Center. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. It offers seafood, steaks and pasta dishes. HAIR SALON RELOCATES Fantastic Sam's moved after almost 10 years from Carrollwood Commons Shopping Center on N Dale Mabry Highway near Ross and Target to 14749 N Dale Mabry Highway, in the Market Place North II shopping plaza, near Sweet Tomatoes and Office Depot. RESTAURANT GETS A MAKEOVER: Rum Runner Bay Cafe, 16411 N Florida Ave., changed its name from the Luxury Box in August but is still under the same ownership. The cafe serves mostly seafood in a casual dining atmosphere. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. For information, call 963-3596.
