VETERANS DAY WALK: Group walks beginning from Shelter 5 in War Veterans Memorial Park, 9600 Bay Pines Blvd. Times are 8 a.m. (15 kilometers) and 9 a.m. (5K and 10K). Walkers follow written directions with routes going through park grounds then onto the Pinellas Trail and over Cross Bayou Bridge. Bring a picnic lunch; soft drinks available. SERVICE PERSONNEL AT MUSEUM: The Florida International Museum, 100 Second St. N, St. Petersburg, offers free admission to veterans and active military, police officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel from noon to 4 p.m. The Kennedy Collection has more than 600 personal Kennedy pieces on display and two theater presentations.
