TREASURE ISLAND -- Members of the Treasure Islettes are planning a craft bazaar, card party and luncheon from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Community Center, One Park Place.

The event is expected to feature crafts and other items for sale. Tickets are $7 per person and available by calling 360-5076 or 360-9181.

The Islettes, organized the year the city was incorporated in 1955, were established to help the city with civic and social functions and to provide safe activities for youth. The club funds scholarships for college-bound residents, hosts children's parties and sponsors a Little League baseball team. The Islettes also make contributions to the city's fire department and beautification committees each year.
