Buccaneers quick hits

Quick hits:

The Packers lead the all-time series 26-15-1, winning 13 of the past 16. The teams have split the series in each of the last two seasons, including a 24-22 victory at RJS to end a six-game losing skid for the Bucs.

The Bucs need just three more sacks to tie the club record of 44 set in 1997. DT Warren Sapp leads the club with 10.5, just shy of Lee Roy Selmon's club record of 13.

Packers S Darren Sharper is tied with the Bucs' Donnie Abraham, Atlanta's Ray Buchanan and Detroit's Kurt Schulz with six.

Bucs PK Martin Gramatica has connected on 10 straight FG attempts, including three from 50 yards or more to tie a club record.

Packers coach Mike Sherman is the third head coach in Green Bay in three years. -- RICK STROUD

Matchups to watch:

Packers LT Chad Clifton vs. DE Marcus Jones. Clifton, a rookie from Tennessee has his hands full with Jones, who is second on the Bucs with 10 sacks. Jones battled tonsillitis this week but will start.

Packers RB Ahman Green vs. Bucs LB Derrick Brooks. Green has taken over from Levens, who might be out for the season. He is doing the job, averaging 4.2 yards per carry. But the Bucs don't believe he's as good as Levens, who is out after knee surgery. Brooks destroyed Falcons running back Jamal Anderson last week.

Bucs WR Keyshawn Johnson vs. Packers CB Tyrone Williams. Johnson is a hot receiver, with three TDs in his last two games. Williams is the Packers' best corner and must contain Johnson.

Bucs G Frank Middleton vs. Packers DT Santana Dotson. One of the best rivalries in the NFL, Dotson and Middleton have taken some cheap shots at each other, on and off the field. Dotson leads the Packers with 4.5 sacks.

Bulletin board:

"I'll put Santana in the same line as diet foods. We just don't agree," -- Bucs G Frank Middleton.

"I don't know what people think outside of Tampa and the Green Bay world about me and Warren. They think I hate him. They think he hates me. If they do, they couldn't be further from the truth." -- Packers QB Brett Favre.
