Hooper's record: last week 8-7 overall (87-56 overall), 9-5-1 vs. spread (73-62-8)

Packers at Bucs

OF NOTE: The Packers secondary offers another stern test for young Shaun King. Because the front four won't mount much of a pass rush, Green Bay will blitz early and often and hope its athletic secondary can come up with interceptions. If King prevails, the Bucs should win because the Packers offense will struggle to run the ball with two rookie tackles and an inconsistent Ahman Green. Brett Favre will have his moments, but not enough.

KEY INJURIES: Packers -- T Earl Dotson (back), DE Vonnie Holliday (ankle), RB Dorsey Levens (knee), LB Brian Williams (knee) are out. WR Corey Bradford (leg) is doubtful. Bucs -- S David Gibson (quadriceps) is out. LB Shelton Quarles (groin) is questionable. DE Chidi Ahanotu (knee), King (tonsillitis) are probable.

HOOPER'S PICK: Bucs 21, Packers 14

Dolphins at Chargers

OF NOTE: The Chargers defense is susceptible to the pass, but Miami's passing keys off the rushing of Lamar Smith and he may have a hard time against San Diego. The problem for the Chargers is on offense with inexperienced QB Moses Moreno. San Diego has committed two or more turnovers in 10 straight games, and that's one of the reasons it has lost five games in the closing minutes. The Bolts won't go 0-16, but against the ball-hawking Dolphins, this is not the week for them to get a win.

KEY INJURIES: Dolphins -- LB Zach Thomas (ankle) is out. DT Tim Bowens (foot), LB Larry Izzo (pinched nerve) are questionable. Chargers -- DT Leonardo Carson (shoulder), CB Reggie Rusk (knee) are out. RB Kenny Bynum (hamstring), QB Jim Harbaugh (mild hernia/thigh contusion) are questionable.

HOOPER'S PICK: Dolphins 24, Chargers 21

Seahawks at Jaguars

OF NOTE: The campaign trail has taken Seattle east of the Mississippi twice this year and it got trounced by Miami and Carolina. Today they return to Florida, but it doesn't appear the Seahawks will get enough votes to carry the state. Jacksonville has had a bye to correct flaws and heal. The Jags have more talent and a spark of confidence after snapping a five-game losing streak two weeks ago by beating Dallas. Seattle does not have enough to slow the Jags' passing game.

KEY INJURIES: Seahawks -- QB Brock Huard (concussion), WR Sean Dawkins (quadriceps) are questionable. Jaguars -- LB Hardy Nickerson (knee), T Leon Searcy (leg) are out. LB Lonnie Marts (groin), RB Shyrone Stith (knee), DE Renaldo Wynn (knee) are questionable.

HOOPER'S PICK: Jaguars 21, Seahawks 13

Ravens at Titans

OF NOTE: The Ravens believe they've developed a winning formula: Jamal Lewis' running, lots of passes to the tight end and an occasional strike down the field. It worked last week against Cincy, but the Titans offer a more difficult challenge for Trent Dilfer. Under Tony Banks three weeks ago, Baltimore racked up 368 yards but lost 14-6 because of seven turnovers. Titans D may get similar results today, but can the offense score with injured receivers?

KEY INJURIES: Ravens -- WR Travis Taylor (clavicle-injured reserve) is out. FB Obafemi Ayanbadejo (toe) is questionable. Titans -- RB Eddie George (knee/toe), C Kevin Long (neck), WR Derrick Mason (back/ankle), WR Carl Pickens (hamstring), WR Chris Sanders (back/ribs), WR Yancey Thigpen (hamstring/ankle) are questionable.

HOOPER'S PICK: Titans 16, Ravens 13

Saints at Panthers

KEY INJURIES: Saints -- WR Jake Reed (fibula) is out. LB Donta Jones (knee), CB Fred Thomas (foot) are doubtful. S Chris Oldham (knee) is questionable. Panthers -- G Bryan Stoltenberg (knee) is out. T Clarence Jones (knee) is doubtful. RB Tshimanga Biakabutuka (knee), TE Kris Mangum (shoulder) are questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Saints 27, Panthers 13

Cardinals at Vikings

KEY INJURIES: Cardinals -- S Tommy Bennett (quadriceps) is out. DE Thomas Burke (stomach), G Lester Holmes (knee) are doubtful. DT Corey Sears (hip) is questionable. Vikings -- DE Bryce Paup (knee), S Orlando Thomas (shoulder) are out. LB Craig Sauer (foot) is doubtful. CB Cris Dishman (shoulder), DE Roy Barker (groin) are questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Vikings 28, Cardinals 14

Falcons at Lions

KEY INJURIES: Falcons -- QB Chris Chandler (concussion) is doubtful. S Ronnie Bradford (ribs), WR Tim Dwight (ribs) are questionable. Lions -- WR Germane Crowell (foot), T Ray Roberts (Achilles') are out. RB Brock Olivo (hamstring), TE David Sloan (hamstring) are questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Lions 13, Falcons 3

Bears at Bills

KEY INJURIES: Bears -- DT Robert Newkirk (wrist) is out. QB Cade McNown (shoulder) is doubtful. LB Barry Minter (back) is questionable. Bills -- DE Phil Hansen (knee) is out. QB Rob Johnson (shoulder) is questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Bills 20, Bears 10

Bengals at Cowboys

KEY INJURIES: Bengals -- LB Brian Simmons (knee) is out. LB Adrian Ross (ankle), LB Canute Curtis (hand) are questionable. Cowboys -- DT Chad Hennings (neck), WR Raghib Ismail (knee), DT Leon Lett (knee), S George Teague (foot) are out. QB Troy Aikman (back) is questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Bengals 17, Cowboys 14

Patriots at Browns

KEY INJURIES: Patriots -- LB Matt Chatham (leg), LB Ted Johnson (thigh) are doubtful. QB Drew Bledsoe (thumb), WR Dane Looker (leg), DE Willie McGinest (calf), DL Brandon Mitchell (leg), LB Chris Slade (back) are questionable. Browns -- WR David Patten (toe), WR Darrin Chiaverini (knee), DB Lewis Sanders (ankle) are out. DT Darius Holland (elbow), DE Arnold Miller (ankle) are questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Patriots 14, Browns 10

Eagles at Steelers

KEY INJURIES: Eagles -- TE Mike Bartrum (knee) is questionable. Steelers -- C Dermontti Dawson (hamstring), RB Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (foot), TE Cory Geason (knee) are out

HOOPER'S PICK: Steelers 16, Eagles 10

Chiefs at 49ers

KEY INJURIES: Chiefs -- DE Eric Hicks (knee) is out. S Larry Atkins (hamstring), DT Dan Williams (foot), C Tim Grunhard (ankle) are questionable. 49ers -- T Derrick Deese (knee) is out. RB Fred Beasley (ankle) is doubtful. WR Terrell Owens (toe) is questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Chiefs 40, 49ers 35

Rams at Giants

KEY INJURIES: Rams -- Faulk (knee), QB Kurt Warner (finger) are out. CB Todd Lyght (hamstring) is doubtful. RB Robert Holcombe (hamstring), K Jeff Wilkins (quadriceps) are questionable. Giants -- WR Ron Dixon (foot), RB Joe Montgomery (thigh), LB Brandon Short (ankle) are doubtful

HOOPER'S PICK: Rams 27, Giants 24

Jets at Colts

KEY INJURIES: Jets -- LB John Abraham (stomach), TE Fred Baxter (hand) are out. LB Dwayne Gordon (foot) is questionable. Colts -- RB Kevin McDougal (neck) is doubtful. DT Ellis Johnson (knee) is questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Colts 24, Jets 20

KEY INJURIES: Raiders -- Janikowski (ankle), DE Lance Johnstone (groin), RB Jon Ritchie (calf), T Matt Stinchcomb (knee), RB Tyrone Wheatley (ankle) are questionable. Broncos -- RB KaRon Coleman (foot), G Mark Schlereth (knee) are questionable

HOOPER'S PICK: Broncos 31, Raiders 27
