Local Edward Jones investment representatives are hosting a course titled "The 2000 Tax Law Update," at two locations from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. The program will be broadcast through Edward Jones' satellite system at 13121 Spring Hill Drive and 3296 Commercial Way, Spring Hill. The program has been produced by the firm's Professional Education Network for area accountants and attorneys. It will review legislative, regulatory and judicial developments for the year 2000, emphasizing small business issues. Enrollment fee is $50. Registration is required. The Nature Coast Chapter of the Florida Society of Accounting & Tax Professionals is holding its regular monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Country Kitchen Restaurant on Commercial Way in Spring Hill. A representative from the Florida Department of Revenue is the featured speaker. The meetings are open to accountants or tax professionals from Hernando, Citrus or Pasco counties.
