Bulletin board gets material

MONTREAL -- Canadiens defenseman Patrice Brisebois caused a stir in the Lightning locker room Monday.

Brisebois reportedly told a Montreal television reporter he was "ashamed" after the Canadiens' 3-1 loss Friday to the Lightning, which he called a team of "no-names."

Though Brisebois added that he thought the Lightning "played well," players still were not pleased.

"That's one of those things that will probably be put on the bulletin board," right wing Mike Johnson said. "If that's the way he thinks, that's a (rallying point) for all the guys in this room."

"They lost the game. He shouldn't use it as an excuse," center Vinny Lecavalier said.

Coach Steve Ludzik laughed when he heard what Brisebois said. "If everybody wants to think we're no-names, that's fine, too," he said. "But that's a good comment. I'll make sure we remind our boys about it."
