    Forum on downtown redevelopment tonight

TARPON SPRINGS -- The city and a consulting firm will hold the first of two public forums about a proposed downtown redevelopment plan at 6:30 tonight at the Heritage Center, which is the old library building in Craig Park, 100 Library Circle. The proposal suggests changes along Pinellas Avenue between downtown and the Sponge Docks, as well as a waterfront hotel and a parking garage. It also proposes the creation of an art walk and a central park. Representatives of the city and RMPK Group will be available to answer questions. The second meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30. For information, call the city planning and zoning department, (727) 942-5611.
