INTERNATIONAL DANCE: The German American Social Club of West Central Florida will have its International Dance from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Beverly Hills Recreation Association, 77 Civic Circle. LISTEN TO TEACHER: Playhouse 19 will present Miss Margarida's Way Thursdays through Sunday through Nov 25. The one-woman show is about a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense eighth-grade teacher who lectures the audience as though the members were her students. Showtimes Thursdays are 7:30 p.m., today and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, available at the box office, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Call 563-1333 for reservations.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: The Beverly Hills Recreation Association, 77 Civic Circle, will turn on the Festival of Lights at 7 p.m. Nov. 23. The Beverly Hills Chorus will perform at 6:30 p.m. Free admission. Display will be lit each evening until 10 p.m. through early January.

CRACKER STORIES: Col. Rod Hendricks of the Cracker Brigade will be the featured storyteller at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Unitarian Fellowship Hall, 2149 County Road 486, Beverly Hills. Hendricks, a Hernando resident, is a performer at area folk music and storytelling festivals. His stories focus on Florida characters. Admission is free, but a donation will be appreciated. SKELTON TRIBUTE: Red Skelton tribute performer Tom Mullica will portray the comedian and his offbeat characters such as Klem Kaddiddlehopper and Freddie The Freeloader at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Performances are at 7 p.m. Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 2. The show ran for a year in Las Vegas and Mullica is now taking it on a national tour. Tickets are $20, available at the theater box office or by phone at 563-1333.

CRAFT SHOW: The Citrus County Crafts Council will hold its 11th annual Winter Wonderland Craft show from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at the West Citrus Elks Lodge on Grover Cleveland Boulevard, one mile east of U.S. 19. Show is a benefit for the Day Star Life Center of Citrus County. Free parking and admission. Call 621-3608.

BARBERSHOPPERS: The Citrus County Chorus of the Highlands Barbershoppers will have a holiday concert Dec. 16 at Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High. Tickets are $5 at the Homosassa Springs Chamber of Commerce. Call 628-2666.

TREE LIGHTING: The Homosassa Springs Chamber of Commerce wil have its fourth annual Springing into Christmas community tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park Visitors Center, U.S. 19 and Halls River Road. Event also includes classic cars, live holiday music and a visit from Santa. Call 628-2666.

WOODCARVERS: The Nature Coast Carving Club will have its fourth annual Woodcarving Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Citrus County auditorium at the fairgrounds on U.S. 41 S, Inverness. Show features 75 exhibitors, along with demonstrations, books and supply vendors.

BROADWAY MUSIC: A Taste of Broadway dinner theater will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Beverly Hills Recreation Association, 77 Civic Circle. Local entertainers Paul Stevio, Amy Easter and Vaneliz Vasquez will perform classic and contemporary Broadway songs, including a Phantom of the Opera tribute. Tickets are $15.50 for association members, $17.50 for nonmembers, sold through Nov. 27 at the clubhouse. Call 746-4882.

SYMPHONY CONCERT: The Central Florida Symphony Orchestra will perform its Holiday Program at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium in Lecanto. Individual tickets are $15 and season tickets for three shows are $40. Call 527-8405.

HOLIDAY ARTS: The annual Holiday on Inverness Square arts and crafts festival will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Courthouse Square. The show is the same day as the Christmas Parade. Free admission and parking.
