THE PEDAL BOATS CLUB A fee is charged, and watercraft is available for those who need them. Informal gatherings include weekend cruising, nature site visits and fun racing for free. THE WEST PASCO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the second Thursday of each month (except for April, July and August) at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Congregational Church, 6533 Circle Blvd. in downtown New Port Richey. THE HERNANDO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (unless noted otherwise) at 7 p.m. at the Brooksville Community Hall, 205 East Ft. Dade Ave. Membership is open to all. The organization has two field trips scheduled: Today -- Homossassa River Pontoon Boat Safari. Nov. 24, 7 a.m. -- P.K. THE PASCO CHAPTER OF THE COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Red Cross building at Ridge Road and Congress Avenue in Port Richey. Call (727) 861-1500.

THE HERNANDO AREA BOAT CLUB, organized to promote safe boating, meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Aripeka Community Center on Osawa Boulevard (S.R. 595). Call (352) 666-1725.
