Rodeo, dance to be held at fairgrounds
By JORGE SANCHEZ © St. Petersburg Times, published November 18, 2000 A chance to see all types of rodeo action highlights the weekend entertainment package. The Citrus Stampede Rodeo will be held at 7:30 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday at the livestock pavilion at the Citrus County Fairgrounds, U.S. 41 S, Inverness. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate for adults; $4 in advance and $5 at the gate for children ages 4-12. Ticket locations include Crystal Dodge on State Road 44 W at Inverness and U.S. 19 S, Homosassa; the Citrus County 4-H office at the fairgrounds auditorium in Inverness; and the Feed & Western Outlet at U.S. 41 and Arlington Road, Inverness. Call 564-4525. After the rodeo, at 9 p.m. today, a country western dance will be held at the fairgrounds auditorium. Tickets are $5. Music by disc jockey Ric Craig. Other entertainment options: are: The musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors has its final performances this weekend at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Show time is 8 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12. Call 563-1333. The Central Florida Master Choir will perform at 3 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 206 Washington Ave., Inverness. Songs include Requiem, Ave Maria, I Hear America Singing and I Have A Dream. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students. Call 465-7728. The Inglis/Yankeetown Arts, Crafts and Seafood festival will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday in Yankeetown. The Forest Ridge Elementary School PTA will hold a Fall Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. today.
