CANNELLA ELEMENTARY: Domino's Pizza Night is Tuesday. The stores at 11406 N Dale Mabry Highway and 8206 W Waters Ave. will donate 20 percent of dinner sales from Cannella parents and staff to the school. For information, call (813) 975-6941.

OLD PHONEBOOK RECYCLING FUNDRAISER: These schools will collect and recycle old telephone books as fundraisers: Cannella Elementary, Nov. 13-20; Leto High, Nov. 13-20; Maniscalco Elementary, Nov. 13-20, Walker Middle, Nov. 27-Dec. 4.

WRITING CONTEST: The GFWC Lutz-Land O'Lakes Woman's Club will sponsor the GFWC Youth Writing Contest for students in Hillsborough and Pasco counties. Students in grades 1 through 12 may enter one poem and/or one short story. Poems must be between 8 and 30 lines and may be written in any style. Short stories are limited to 2,000 words. A $50 U.S. Savings Bond will be awarded to winners in each category. Entries must be submitted by Nov. 30 to Nancy Jaszczak, 2516 Shorewood Lane, Land O'Lakes, FL 34639.
