Devil May Cry

Devil May Cry starts off with a bang. The opening scene includes a woman plowing a motorcycle through a wall, karate-kicking a man in the face, then running an electrically charged sword through him. The quickness and extremity of the events hit as hard as any action flick and prepare players for one massively exciting game.
The man involved in the attack survives because he is the son of a demon swordsman who turned against the devil. Now this man, named Dante, must continue his father's fight in a beautifully Gothic world.
The detail in Devil May Cry is incredible, especially inside the castle, with its backlit Gothic windows, finely carved sculptures and twisted flora. Players will gawk at the beasts they must battle and the dazzling special effects.
The action is relentless, as Dante wields rifles, swords and other blades that can be used to perform a number of attacks. And when the going gets particularly tough, Dante can transform into a shadowy demon, destroying enemies with ease.
At least some time is spent searching for keys and other necessary items. But this is really just a diversion from the brutal action that makes this title a treat for mature players.
