Adult activities group to meet

Activities Unlimited of Brandon meets from 6 to 8 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Brandon Brew House, 770 W Lumsden Road. Discussed at the meetings are camping, canoeing, trips, theater, dining, movies, boating and golf. For information, call (813) 684-8002.

University Women's Association to meet

Mature driving classes offered Nov. 27-28

The AARP is sponsoring 55 alive/mature driving classes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 27 and 28 at the Canterbury Tower, 3501 Bayshore Blvd. Classes meet both days for eight hours. There is no actual driving and the classes cost $10 per person. Bring your driver's license. Insurance discounts may be available. For information, call (813) 935-9418.

The Salvation Army needs volunteers throughout Hillsborough County to sort and pack food baskets, ring bells, serve Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and assist Adopt-a-Child stations. For information, call (813) 226-0055
