Bucs chat

Fans see no excuse for Bucs

I can't wait to hear what excuse Tony Dungy uses for this loss. Booooooo!
-- Dan Willhoite, Clearwater

After watching Sunday's game, the Bucs should consider trading Mike Alstott and Mark Royals. And maybe the dummy that called all those dumb offensive plays.
-- Tom Vath, St. Petersburg

How many times must we let Shaun King lose a game for us until it is realized he will not get the job done? If you remember, Trent Dilfer was benched in favor of Eric Zeier. You don't lose the starting QB job because of injury. I think Eric is healthy now. Play him and let's start winning!
-- Keith Malcom, Clearwater

First, we the Tampa Bay fans, must realize that we are not going to be included in post-season play. Second, we must clear our eyes and realize that Shaun King is a mediocre quarterback. He single-handedly put seven points on the Bears scoreboard. The defense ... did get a workout but the fact is it did not lose that game. Poor offensive execution and coaching are clearly at fault. Changes must be made in the off-season if fans ever want to see a championship in the future.
-- Brian Travnicek, Clearwater

There is only one word to describe the 2000 Buccaneers: pathetic. It's become obvious that there are too many players on this team who just don't care whether they win or lose. Some guys seem content to collect their big, fat paychecks and run back home to their mansions, counting the days until the next time they get to play golf. The fans devote a lot of time and money toward following this team, and we deserve better.
-- Phil Kolocotronis, Odessa

Uninspired! The Bucs got whupped at the line on both sides of the ball. The Bucs got embarrassed. Super Bowl? They will be lucky to get in the playoffs! Better luck next year.
-- Chuck Callaghan, Dunedin
