    Adult league

    Players 18 and older are being sought for a new league in St.Petersburg. All levels of experience are welcome. Games are to be played under major league rules at the Devil Rays spring training complex.     Clearwater rides

    Friday morning rides leave at 8 a.m. from Chainwheel Drive, 1770 Drew St. For information, call Tony, (813) 441-2444.

    The Bike/Brunch Bunch has a fun ride (10-15 mph) every Saturday to various restaurants near the Pinellas Trail. Leaves from the Clearwater Library, 100 N Osceola Ave. at 9:30 a.m. For information, call Barry Behrle, 736-3363.

    St. Petersburg rides

    Rides of 25 miles for fitness riders and triathletes leave from North Shore Pool at 8:30 a.m. each Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Speeds vary from 18-28 mph. Helmets are required. Call (727) 582-1910 for information.

    The St. Petersburg Bicycle Club has Sunday rides of 35-55 miles for fitness riders, racers and triathletes. They begin at 8:30 a.m. at the main library, Ninth Avenue N and 37th Street. Speeds vary. Helmets are required. Call (727) 582-1910 for information.

    BMX racing

    BMX races for riders of all ages and skill levels are conducted every Saturday at 8 p.m. at Walter Fuller Park, 7751 26th Ave. N in St. Petersburg.     Dec.2, 12:30 p.m. -- The Countryside Diamond Club, the baseball booster club at Countryside High School, will have a four-person scramble at the Chi Chi Rodriguez course in Clearwater.     Traveler's club

    The American Lung Association Traveler's Golf Club is open for membership. The league travels twice a month to a variety of courses in the Tampa Bay area. Prices average $30 to $40 per person during the winter season. The league primarily is focused on fun events rather than serious competition. The club offers a couples division.
